Asimina (Mina) Filiopoulou

Graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Trained and well educated in the  abuse, neglect and abandonment of minors (conditions - treatment - experiences from other countries), in new forms of parenting (assisted fertilization - surrogacy), in basic principles of child psychiatry and the law of privacy.
Legal adviser to the institution of child protection "Primary Nursery of Thessaloniki - Saint Stilianos" from 2001 till 2015.
Founding member of the Association "SCIENTIFIC ASSOCIATION WELFARE of children and adolescents, "in the Board of  which  she participates.
 
Participated as rapporteur:
a) in two rounds of training programs for mental health workers, of the Office of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, of  the  3rd University Department of Psychiatry  of AHEPA Hospital and of the  Greek Society for Infant Mental Health, on the subject  "Introduction to infant and child psychiatry of infancy 'presenting matters of family law,
 
b) in  educational programs for mental health workers,  of the  Child Psychiatry Clinic of the Hospital of Thessaloniki  "IPPOKRATEIO", presenting a circle of family law matters,
 
c) in the training course of the Orphanage for Girls  in Thessaloniki "Melissa" regarding "The practice of hospitality and underwriting minors from scientific and legal point of view 'and
 
d) in the conference of the Research Centre  "Roots" with the support of the EU, on the subject "Knowledge is power-Adoption and finding roots."
 
As part of the training programs of the Scientific Association of Child and Adolescent Care, she delivers seminars and courses on family law, domestic violence and  privacy law.
